NARROW SEATS.
Narrow 3 seaters in public buses. they must be 2+2 not 2+3
An average bodybuild person occupies 125% of the 3 seater. The next person makes it 250% leaving only 50% for the third. That individual must keep half the body away from seat on air and keep leg on foot path to balance. It becomes worse when bus becomes crowded. How this factor is not corrected by dozens of bus body builders and transportation department and thousands who travel by buses. Sometimes, one would sit near window and the other would on other edge. The middle will have only 50% how can anybody sit there. Somebody must have put an end to this 3 seater torture system. TN govt newest buses in year 2020 also have same torturous disadvantage.

If the bus trip is 4 hours or so. For 4 hours, the third person must sit half the seat, keep supporting with left leg outside the seat. In most cases, they overload and overcrowd.
Atleast million people all over Tamil Nadu suffers this seating arrangement every year.
There is no way in western countries, this kind of torturous 3+2 seating arrangement is present in public buses.
UNFORTUNATE UGLY STATE OF AFFAIRS OF TAMIL NADU BUSES
TN buses are crowded hell. Pathetic condition of lower middle class and middle class people who travel. Touching and rubbing total strangers - there can be no torture in the world than this for an individual of a Hindu background.
Tamil Nadu buses conductive to first step of Homosexuality and Lesbianism.
The sight is of homosexuals on one side of the bus and lesbians on the other side of the bus. In Tamil Nadu, all ladies should board on front side. During overcrowding as it usually happens on peak hours, ladies will be hugging, rubbing, touching, caressing one other on the front end of the bus, and men will be doing the same on the rear side of the buses. In a bus capacity of 60, usually 120 persons will be there. One cannot even breathe. They will be rubbing their sweat on other passenger's faces, hands etc who are standing. Of course, unknowingly.

The problem is not present in "long haul" SETC Govt buses which have 2+1 spacious seats and even upper berths 5+5. But they are very few in number when compared to torturous 3+2 buses with overcrowding even in long haul routes. For hours, one cannot turn even 50% left side or right side.
